Use this worksheet as an initial guide for your experiments

• Worksheet with suggested parameter values

• Start with one of the guided experiments that you found interesting

• If you have an idea of what you want to try it helps keep your focus

  • e.g. if the original simulation had 3 standing waves in the wave tank, try to set driver frequency and stiffness so you can get 4, 4.5, 5 etc standing waves.

  • If the original simulation showed chaotic behavior, try to to find parameters that cause the system to:

    • settle into a more orderly state

    • behave chaotically, but qualitatively differently from the original
